2023 Requirements to Host Annual Meeting
Your Association can host the next State Annual Meeting! The deadline to submit your association's bid is March 21, 2022.
Requirements to Host
- Obtain local hotels for State to visit. Hotels to have a minimum of 100 sleeping rooms and banquet room that can hold up to 250 people for a plated dinner as well be capable of hosting a luncheon for 100 people. Provide 2 comp rooms for annual meeting committee for site visit.
- Have area for registration and assist with registration on Friday night and Saturday morning.
- Host a bowling tournament on Saturday morning, locals can run brackets. Friday host a golf tournament (golf optional).
- Obtain raffle items for table and sell tickets (local 75%, state 25%)
- Sell share the wealth tickets (local 75%, state 25%).
- Obtain minister and print memorial flyer for memorial service. State to reimburse locals $125 to assist with cost (printing and minister).
- Center pieces for banquet tables (can be flowers or anything appropriate).
- Host a delegate get together, if financially feasible, (not mandatory). Suggest contacting chamber of commerce or sports commission for assistance.
