Annual Contest

  1. The contest is open to Florida State USBC Publicity writers and anyone wishing to submit an article for the newsletter. Professional writers are not eligible. All articles must be bowling related and of interest to bowlers.
  2. Judging will be based on articles appearing in all Florida State USBC Newsletters published during the months of October through June each bowling year. For writers to be considered for an award, they must submit at least two articles per bowling season. The judge will be provided with copies of all newsletters.
  3. The judge will be chosen by the Florida State USBC Publicity Chairperson.
  4. It will not be compulsory for the judge to name a winner in each category each year, if, in their judgment, the quality of the material does not warrant an award.
  5. Awards will be presented to all winners during the Florida State USBC Annual Meeting.
